Chiro at Norwest with Shae Famularo
Why did you study Chiro?
I always knew that I wanted to do something in the realm of health and have seen Chiropractors since childhood, so naturally was more drawn to that as a foundation. Over the years, with additional education in soft tissue techniques, rehabilitation and strength programming, I have found it to be the best combination approach in helping patients move and feel better, in life and sports.
What conditions can Chiro help with and what do you have a special interest in?
Chiropractic treatment can help with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions; including lower back pain, neck pain, headache and migraine, joint stiffness and mobility, neurological symptoms and posture to name a few.
I personally have a special interest in managing shoulder injuries, headaches and neck pain, or any performance related injuries particularly those of strength athletes.
What do you love most about Chiro clients at 4D?
I love working with clients who are invested and proactive in taking care of their bodies and health. I believe in what we do, taking a multidisciplinary approach we naturally attract those with a positive mindset and ambition to reach their goals in working with us. This two-way street means that we are working together, rather than 'on' people.
Can you think of a time recently that made you feel proud to be working with 4D?
I think it's always nice to know that regardless of which room you end up in that working under a roof with a variety of different practitioners, with their own knowledge base, expertise, experience and special interests, that you will be well taken care of and guided the right direction to achieve results/your goals.
What is something unique or interesting about you?
A friend of mine once said that what she likes most about me is that no matter what the circumstance, that I can't help but be myself. And I guess that's something I consider unique.
